Location: Santa Clarita Valley / San Fernando Valley, CA
Pay Rate: $25-$30 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Onboarding

Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate on-site interviews
Manage full-cycle recruitment and new hire onboarding
Complete employment documentation, orientations, and training coordination

Employee Relations & Support

Serve as a daily point of contact for employee questions and concerns
Assist with performance management, disciplinary actions, and documentation
Support employee investigations and conflict resolution
Promote a positive, compliant, and professional work environment

HR Administration

Maintain employee files and HRIS systems
Track attendance, PTO, leaves of absence, and benefits eligibility
Assist with benefits enrollment and employee communications
Coordinate with payroll on timekeeping and employee changes

Compliance & Policy

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local (California) labor laws
Assist with employee handbook updates and policy rollouts
Support HR audits, reporting, and internal processes

Qualifications

2-5 years of HR Generalist or related HR experience
Strong background in Recruiting and employee relations
Working knowledge of California labor laws required
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Fully on-site, in-office role
Fast-paced environment supporting multiple departments
